On June 6th, Harry Stricker from Hörmann KG and I gave a presentation at this year's ECC FORUM in the SANAA building at Zollverein. It was a great experience to present the new Hörmann customer portal and share important milestones of the project. The modern architecture of the SANAA building in Essen provided the perfect backdrop and created an impressive atmosphere.

Behind the project was a huge interdisciplinary team from communicode from the following areas: Platform Architecture, Consulting, User Experience, Frontend and Backend Development, Platform Engineering etc. Each discipline contributed its unique expertise to successfully implement the project. It was very inspiring for me to present the development of the customer portal from a UX design perspective. We worked hard to make user interactions with the portal as seamless and efficient as possible.

Harry Stricker and I will talk about how we set new standards at Hörmann KG through scalable architecture, automation and a seamless user experience. While I highlighted the user perspective and the customer journey of a Hörmann KG retailer, Harry Stricker emphasized the need for powerful e-commerce solutions and innovative digital self-services for business success.
